About

Christian Saucedo is an abstract artist working in acrylics. His paintings begin with structure: grids, measured lines, and spatial divisions. From that framework, he builds layers of translucent color and neutral tones that shift the weight of the picture.
He works slowly and deliberately in a process that is both additive and reductive, with each layer either accentuating or concealing the last. The result is a balance between control and release; paintings that feel architectural, quiet, and exacting, yet open and atmospheric.
Self-taught, Saucedo lives in Portland, Maine, with his wife Mary.
